To all Christian People...I BENJAMIN NEWTON of county Stafford send greeting this 29th October 1699..
Now know ye that for sum Five Thousand Pounds Tobo. paid by WILLIAM KING of county Stafford...do bargain more or less being in Stafford Cunty, being part of a parcel of 400 acres of land which by divers means came to my Father JOHN NEWTON of county Westmoreland deced as by Demesne as of fee simple which John Newton by deed of gift dated 25 November 1690 gave and devised said 400 acres to me Benjamin Newton....the said 150 acres of land bounded beginning at the head of Kethers Marsh along a swampt that divides this land from the land formerly MATHEW BUSHS along said swamp until it comes to the land that divides this land from land of JAMES PRICE thence along that line till it comes to a Black Walnut corner tree standing a little below Prices old dwelling house then along a line of marked trees that divides this land from the land Benjamin Newton lives on till it comes to a corner red oak that stands upon a line that divides the 150 acres now sold from the land of ROBERT KETHER or JOHN NEWTON, JUNR, DECED then along the said line till it comes to a swampt that divides the said land and the land I, Benjamin Newton sold Mrs. SARAH HEWIT then down and along said swamp to beginning at the end of Kethers Marsh....

Benjamin Newton acknowledged said deed and ordered recorded November 9th 1699 and MARY NEWTON by WILLIAM FITHUGH her attorney came into court and acknowledged her right of dower to said deed.
Power of Attorney dated 8th November 1699 from Mary Newton to William Fitzhugh, signed by Mary Newton in presence of CHARLES CALVERT AND LUCY GRIGG.

WILL OF WILLIAM KING
I William King of Stafford County being very sick and weak of body...give and bequeath my land to my two sons WILLIAM GRAFFORT KING and THOMAS KING equally to be divided in quality and quantity....and it is my will that my daughters ELIZABETH KING & SARAH KING & JANE KING & MARGARET KING live upon my plantation till they marry and have house and land to make a crop on and it is my will that JOHN WISSETER live upon my plantation as long as he lives and have house and ground to make a crop on and it is my will that my two sons Wm Graffort King and Thomas King be at age 18 years old and have their land and I give and bequeath all my personal estate to my loving wife
JUDETH KING and make her my whole Executrix....this 22nd day of May 1702
